Smith Brings Diverse Business Experience to the Genomics Market

Lawrence (Larry) Smith has joined Eurofins MWG Operon, Inc., a Eurofins Genomics company, as their new Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Smith joins Eurofins following his role as CEO and President of Mitsubishi Chemical’s Mytex Polymers US Corporation. There, he successfully guided the organization through the difficult economic period impacted by the global financial crisis and the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami. Prior to his experience at Mitsubishi, Mr. Smith held various leadership roles in Terex Corporation and Exxon Mobil Corporation.
