The Fluidigm BioMark HD and EP1 Systems provide high quality and high-throughput genotyping and gene expression results.

The BioMark HD and EP1 Systems are suitable for a broad range of sample types. They can be used with a huge variety of chemicals (TaqMan, SYBR Green, Evagreen, KASP chemistry, etc.) and they are therefore highly flexible. Both systems offer high-throughput real-time and digital PCR in combination with thermal cycling and fluorescence detection using Integrated Fluidic Circuits (IFCs).

Dynamic Array IFCs support your SNP genotyping project

Integrated Fluidic Circuits (IFCs) are networks of chambers and channels in nanoliter format where the PCR reactions are mixed automatically. Hence, reaction volume variability is eliminated.

Using IFCs lead to

  • high quality data ( up to ≥ 99% call rates)
  • high accuracy (up to ≥ 99.75%)
  • high-throughput (up to 27,000 datapoints per day)
  • requirement of small amounts of high quality DNA
