DNA Origami is a technique that allows the construction of objects at the nanometer scale.

DNA double-helices are the basic building blocks for these objects. The building blocks are connected to form a rich diversity of shapes that can range from simple bricks to intricate objects. The absolute dimensions of such objects may range from a few nanometers to hundreds of nanometers. The objects have precise features defined by the user and are chemically registered.

It is possible to install a variety of chemical functionalities at virtually any position on the target object that was choosen. The objects are encoded in DNA sequences and form, in solution, through sequence-programmed self-assembly.

Single Strand Scaffold DNA for your research

All Scaffold DNA's are available in 3 scales. 

  • 50 picomoles (0.5 mL at 100 nM)
  • 200 picomoles (2 mL at 100 nM)
  • 800 picomoles (2 mL at 400 nM)

Scaffold DNA is supplied in buffer containing 10 mM Tris-Base and 1 mM EDTA.
